Is this the retirement life I worked 40 years for?
Every day about 10,000 Americans turn 65 years old. Many of us worked 10-12 and longer hours a day to make ends meet and prepare for a wonderful retirement. We worked for a wage or salary that in many cases just barely stretched from week to week. Then in retirement, our incomes end up going substantially down, cost of living goes up, taxes go up, secure Social Security looks less likely, and we are supposed to enjoy this wonderful new life!
I have traveled to every state and around 40 countries in my professional career. I have found most of the 55-75 crowd to be extremely skilled in many areas, having spent years earning that grey hair. It seems backwards to put these talented, ambitious people with years of productivity left into silly jobs earning minimum wage.
There are many great places for these talents to be put to use. A business run from the home can afford amazing tax benefits and significant income with 20 to 25 hours a week. I dropped out of the work force when I was a city bus driver in St. Paul, Minnesota. I had never gone on a vacation outside of Minnesota and my income from my JOB put me Just Over Broke every week. I am thankful to say that my small Home business grew to hundreds of millions in sales and helped allot of people live well. You can too! I got my dad started at 68 years old and he earned over 1.5M from 68 to 80 years old.
I recommend the very hot Green Technology movement. Green is here to stay. When I was growing up people threw their fast food wrappers out the window of their car. We dumped our used motor oil in the drain at the curb. We didn’t know you could recycle. The world is changing and the 55+ crowd is perfectly positioned to cash in on this huge market.
I’m happy to provide information and ideas on how a retired or closing-in-on-retirement-age person can get involved with the Green industry from home and build a very secure future.
